Pivka

In Pivka, the entire public lighting was renovated and thus standardized throughout the municipality. During the renovation, special attention was paid to the illumination of sacral and cultural heritage objects. Outdated, inefficient and environmentally harmful lights have been replaced with 1,250 LED lights, which adjust automatically for optimal illumination of public spaces. The new lights reduced light pollution in the local environment. Now the municipality also saves maintenance costs, since the new lighting requires only minimal maintenance. This one-off complete lighting renovation was very economical for the municipality. As part of the project, a register of municipal public lighting was created and now energy monitoring is conducted.
